kyoto ramen NO.13

kyoto ramen

Introduciton

I decided to visit this well-known Kyoto ramen restauran

The store is located at the east end of Sanjo Meitengai.

We visited around 12:00 on a holiday. The restaurant was only 20-30% full.
We took our seats and looked at the menu.

I ordered “Chashu-men (pork noodle) 850 yen” respecting my mood of wanting to eat the Kyoto Ramen.

There are many set menus with rice dishes. The fact that they have Tenshinhan is unusual for a ramen restaurant.

After a short wait, the chashu-men came out. The petals of the chashu are squeezed.

Well, the amount of chashu was the same.

I immediately sipped the soup. Yes, this is it. The stable pork bone soy sauce soup. I like this soup and sometimes want to eat it.

There are about 10 pieces of chashu pork. It was thinly sliced but had a nice meaty texture. It is the kind of pork that makes you want to roll it up with rice.

In the latter half of the soup, I put in the ding dong on the table. The soup turns red. The wildly changed taste was a good stimulus. I was sweating.

Yokozuna’s wonderful service is to put in as many green onions as you like. I couldn’t help but add a heaping pile of them.

There are many ramen stores in this neighborhood, but most of them charge 800 to 900 yen by default. However, the ramen here is only 700 yen.

And for almost the price of a bowl of ramen at other restaurants, you can get a set meal with rice, which is a great deal.

The cheerful and energetic service from the waitstaff was a nice touch.
Thank you for the meal.
