Introduce
Even though it is getting warmer during the day, the nights are still, well, cold.
It is still the season for delicious ramen.
I am a sucker for the word “sinewy”.
I made a quick decision and ordered the “ramen suji set meal” (900 yen). Students get a 50 yen discount on set meals after 6:00 p.m.! Yay!
It comes with rice, ramen (regular), suji stew, and shredded cabbage.
I can’t eat too much, so I had to have a small amount of rice and ramen. So the picture shows a small amount of ramen.
After waiting for about 10 minutes, it came. Bon appétit!
The ramen was a kind of tonkotsu (pork bone) soup like in Kyoto. It was mild and mild.
Menma, 3 slices of pork and green onion are on the top. Menma~♡♡♡!
Delicious!
But, the soup is a little salty. The noodles may be too soft.
The tendon was harder than I thought it would be. There is quite a bit of gristle left. I like it soft and fluffy, so it could have been a little more.
Also, it was a little cold;
The cabbage is covered with some kind of orange-ish dressing. It was sweet…what was it?
I also tried the karaage! After all, the storefront said “karaage” on the menu!
The “Bone-in Fried Chicken” ( \450).
Shredded cabbage and four chicken wings.
They are hot.
It is kind of black, but the taste is not as strong as it looks.
It is usually … delicious.
There were some businessmen drinking alcohol, so I guess this restaurant is loved by the locals.
Smoking is allowed, so the smell is a little bit bothersome, but that’s part of the atmosphere of this restaurant.
