Today I would like to introduce a hotel near Shijo-Karasuma in Kyoto.
It is conveniently located near downtown.
You need to take the subway from Kyoto station.
It takes about 10 minutes to get there.
1,HOTEL M’s EST SHIJO KARASUMA/Close to the station
Budget 8,030yen~
The hotel is still new, and the rooms are functional and make effective use of space in a small area.
The room lights turn on when you insert something, even if it is not your door key card. The amenities, though only for one person, were refrigerator, hair dryer, 2 cups, 2 large and 2 small towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, and other necessary items, WIFI speed was good, and the temperature control of the air conditioner was fine. The location is excellent, just one minute from Karasuma station.
There is a vending machine for beverages and an ice machine in the first floor, so you can drink in the room.

2,Hotel Check-in Shijo-Karasuma
Budget 8,000yen
First of all, the location is good. You can go anywhere right next to Shijo station.
There is a Lawson across the street and a drugstore next door.
Automatic check-in and free drink server in the lobby. They will keep your luggage after check-out.
Rooms are not spacious, but there is a washing machine and a bathroom dryer, which is very nice.
If you stay more than 2 nights, you can do your laundry efficiently.
There are microwave ovens and water servers on each floor.
There is a large bathroom on the top floor, but it is not spacious: a bath for 3 people and an outdoor bath for 1 person.
Bicycle rentals are available for shopping and exploring the area.

3,Hotel San Felician Kyoto Shijo-Karasuma
Budget 8,820
The room was spacious and clean, and it was close to the Shijo-Karasuma intersection for easy sightseeing. The staff was excellent, and I was impressed by their friendly and helpful service. There are also many good restaurants in the area, so we were able to fully enjoy the charms of Kyoto. You can enjoy eating out at the surrounding restaurants, and when you spend time in your room, you can also spend time cooking in the in-room kitchen. I would definitely recommend this accommodation for our next stay.
I liked the simple and minimalist amenities. The sophisticatedly decorated room was calm and comfortable. Close to the Shijo-Karasuma intersection, convenient access and ideal for sightseeing. There are many tourist attractions and shopping areas in the surrounding area. The staff was friendly and helpful, and I felt safe and comfortable during my stay. I was very satisfied with the comfort and location at a reasonable price.

4,Hotel Monterey Kyoto
Budget 9,880yen~
It is a little far from Kyoto station, but just a short walk from Karasuma-Oike subway station. It is not downtown, but there are various stores in the neighborhood. The room has a double bed and is spacious enough for single use. The bathroom is spacious and not cramped at all. The facilities are not the latest, but there are plenty of electrical outlets, so there is no problem. The staff is also very helpful. It is a four-star hotel and they are very attentive.
Breakfast and spa can be added to your stay for an extra charge. The extra charge is quite expensive, but the breakfast is so rich and varied that you can’t eat it all in just one day. The spa was almost fully reserved for us, as if there were only a few people who use the spa. It was also nice that they installed mirabilities in the showers in the baths.

5,Hotel Vista Premio Kyoto Japanese Residence
Budget 9900yen~
I was able to get a reservation for a larger room, so naturally, the room was spacious, the chair had an ottoman, and the bath had a Refa shower and bubble bathtub, which is all good things.
But I think the best thing about this hotel is the people.
Both the front desk and restaurant staff are really friendly and helpful.
The breakfast in the restaurant is a half buffet, and at the beginning you get a plate of main dish and hot vegetables.
Some people didn’t get it and just had the buffet.
There was rice, bread, fruit, and several small bowls of side dishes, as well as pickles and dashi broth!
The coffee machine was also renewed…and we were very satisfied.
After breakfast, coffee, tea, barley tea, etc. are available for self-service.
There is a department store just a short walk away, so it is convenient to buy souvenirs and gourmet foods from the department store.

The exterior was very beautiful.
There is a lounge in the basement where one drink service and free coffee were available.
There is also a coin laundry, though it is not much, and you can get free ice.
The lounge in the basement? There is a welcome drink (around 19:00-21:00, alcohol is OK) available at the lounge in the basement.
Freshly ground coffee and tea are available anytime until midnight.
The entrance to the room is on a small floor, so you can take off your shoes and relax.
The body soap had a nice scent.
The room had a USB outlet under the bedside table.
There is an extension cord under the TV set.
Two coin-operated laundromats, vending machines (no alcohol), and ice machines in the basement.
There is a FamilyMart right in front of the room.

8,Mitsui Garden Hotel Kyoto Shijo
Budget 10,550yen~
It is far from Kyoto Station, but I think it is in a good location for those who want to do a lot of sightseeing. Convenience stores are conveniently located nearby.
It is easy to check in and check out at the machine instead of at the counter. The amenities were in the form of taking what you need from the amenity bar.
The room had water as a service.
I stayed in a standard room. It is a perfect room for one person. It is rare to find a room of this size, but the price was good because it was compact and inexpensive compared to the market.
It was clean and the design was cute and made me feel good about my stay. The fact that the pajamas were of the top and bottom separate type was also a highly appreciated point.
There were about 9 powder rooms, so it was nice to be able to use them spaciously without crowding. The water was warm enough, and there was also a jet bath at the end of the bath, so I was able to relax.
