Kyoto Teriyaki well-known store No,2

Introduction

The cobblestone-paved Gion Hanamikoji is very tasteful.
The appearance of the restaurant was unrecognizable from the street scenery.
We had requested a private room in advance, but today’s slot was almost already reserved.
Since it was not a counter, the two of us could relax while having a conversation.
The menu is only Ishiyaki oyakodon, so you don’t need to order it.

Kyoto black tea and pickles arrived first.
Soon after, the Ishiyaki oyakodon appeared.
The lady mixes and stirs the oyakodon with two eggs.
Sizzling.
Finally, the remaining egg is dived into the bowl. She told us to mix it to our liking.

There were five spices available on the table, including shichimi, sansho, and umami powder, so I sprinkled on some green pepper.
I have had shichimi on oyakodon before, but the green pepper is quite good.

The charred bits are served in the soup stock as if they were ochazuke.
You can eat it in various ways and get a lot of value for your money.
But even though it is a large portion, it is only oyakodon, so it is finished in no time at all.

After the meal, I had an ice cream monaka and a cup of hojicha (roasted green tea).
