The building looks like an old machiya (townhouse) in the middle of a very elegant scenery.
The price was surprisingly reasonable for the location and the style of the restaurant, so I went in on a whim.
The proprietress runs the restaurant alone, and there are regular customers at the counter.
The meat is tender, moderately fatty, and delicious.
Is it the quality of the meat or the way it is grilled?
I felt that the yakitori was at a high level among the few yakitori I have had so far.
The restaurant was run by a single woman, but she took time to talk with us and we enjoyed talking, eating, and drinking with her.
The taste, price, service, atmosphere, etc. are all high quality.
We had a very pleasant and enjoyable time.
