Recommended Onsen in Kyoto No.6

Introduction

I was surprised to find a natural hot spring within walking distance from Kyoto Station.

It was a weekday afternoon and about half of the seats in the restaurant were occupied, mostly by foreigners and women on their own.

The open-air baths are crowded with cars and you can’t see out of them, but that can’t be helped since we are in the city.

The water was mild and the temperature was just right, and I was allowed to take a long bath.

I did not expect to be able to enjoy a day trip to a hot spring within walking distance from Kyoto Station.

The bath water was just as I expected, the changing rooms and bathrooms were very clean, and on top of that, it was empty, so I was able to really relax.

I was thrilled to find such a nice hot spring within walking distance from Kyoto Station.

I think I could stop by here on my way home from work.

Everyone at the hotel reception and the café was very courteous and helpful, and I was able to relax in a nice bath.
