Recommended Onsen in Kyoto No.9

Introduction

Both men’s and women’s baths have free hair dryers, conditioning shampoo (women’s baths also have treatment), and body soap, and the changing rooms and bathrooms are clean and beautiful.

The changing rooms and bathrooms were clean and beautiful. The atmosphere was nice, like an old-fashioned citizen’s bath in Beppu.

Towel rental, cleansing and skin care products can be purchased directly from the man at the entrance.

There is no parking lot, but there are many pay parking lots around the hotel, so it was not a problem.

It was especially quiet around noon, so I was able to take a relaxing bath without worrying about anyone’s eyes on me. It is not very spacious, so I would not recommend it during busy times.

We took advantage of the set rate with a lift ticket to Amanohashidate Viewland. We didn’t have to wait in line to buy the lift tickets, which saved us both time and money.

This one-day bathing facility is located in front of Amanohashidate Station, just outside the station ticket gate on the right.

It is a quaint building with an old-fashioned appearance, and the facilities have a relaxed atmosphere.

The spring water is moist and is said to be good for beautiful skin.

There is a free footbath outside, which is useful for taking a break.

The ticket that includes Amanohashidate Viewland is a good deal.
