Introduction
Although it is located in the mountains, it is conveniently accessible by bus (free of charge) from Kintetsu Shin Tanabe Station or JR Kyotanabe Station.
The exterior of the building looks like a ryokan (Japanese inn) and is calm and relaxing. The inside of the building is well cleaned and spotless.
The staff cleans frequently, so you will rarely find wet bath mats or hair in the bathtub that makes you feel uncomfortable.
The bedrock bath is also available for an extra charge. It is a bit expensive, and I think it would be better if it were cheaper, but overall, I am highly satisfied.
The hot springs are very good and the effects of the hot springs are outstanding.
The bathtubs have been partially replaced by a carbonated hot spring bathtub for the past several years, and the bathtubs are very crowded, so there is not much room left in the bathtub.
The open-air baths are simply the best.
You can enjoy the view while lying on the beds.
Recently, the management of Restaurant Unsui has changed, and the menu has changed, but it is still delicious.
The approach to the entrance looks like going to a temple. Once inside, there is a reception area, and at once it becomes a super public bath. There is a carbonated hot spring, and the open-air bath is spacious and relaxing.
There is a complete set of shampoo, etc., plus face packs, etc.
In the washroom, there is a wide selection of lotion and milky lotion.
