Introduction

551 Hourai pork buns are a specialty of Osaka, but they are also readily available in Kyoto.
This is a take-out only branch located in Kyoto Station. There are no chilled products, only warm pork buns and yaki-sales.

This time, I bought some souvenirs for home.

The wait staff is quick and efficient, and the turnover is fast and furious, even if you are standing in line. The pork buns are consistently delicious.

The sweetness is probably from the onions.

Each yakisuri is large and juicy.

I did not drink beer because it was during the daytime, but six pieces of yaki-sai and beer may be the best combination.

The pork buns are big and the skin is fluffy!
The meat is juicy and delicious!

The shrimp dumplings are small and easy to eat

I’m glad there are so many in the package!

The steamed buns are delicious, but so are the dumplings and the baked dumplings.
I also bought some chimaki and had it for dinner tonight.

The steamed buns are delicious with a lot of mustard and soy sauce.

I can’t miss the shrimp shaomai.
