Introduction
Founded in 1940, Inoda Coffee is a leading Kyoto coffee shop.
Among its nine branches in Kyoto, Tokyo, Kanagawa, Hiroshima, and other cities, the main store is overwhelmingly prestigious, as if stepping back in time! The stately lighting, tables, chairs, and space give us a sense of quiet peace and quiet, and the shop is crowded with locals and tourists.
The entrance to the store is quite complicated, and I learned for the first time that it is divided inside into a new wing and an old wing. The old coffee shop standard: red chairs, checkered tablecloths, and chandeliers. While meeting all of these criteria, the space has a high ceiling and wide openings for comfortable seating. It seems both retro and modern at the same time. The service is mainly provided by waiters. He looks like a part-time college student, but his manner and mannerisms are polite and pleasant. I ordered a mixed sandwich and a set of coffee. I was told that the coffee was “Arabian Pearl. I later found out that it is based on a deep-brewed mocha.
It is an old coffee shop famous in Kyoto.
