Introduction
You have to wait in line at the front of the restaurant 15 minutes before your reserved time. All of the staff are certified rice masters.
The pride of the rice fanatics can be felt as the restaurant serves rice freshly cooked in their earthenware pots, which is their pride and joy.
While the first floor seats with their live earthenware pots are good, we were guided to the second floor seats overlooking Yasaka Shrine for lunch that day.
It is a great location to enjoy the lights of Yasaka-san at night.
The dishes were all delicious.
We had a choice of sukiyaki or fish for the main course.
I chose fish.
You can also choose your bowl of tea, and the ochazuke (rice in a bowl) made with the last oden is delicious.
You can choose from sea bream, salmon, or ume plum for the ochazuke, which is made with the last oden.
The rice cooked in an earthenware pot with a blend of three types of rice is very tasty and they teach you when to take a picture.
The timing of the photo is also explained to you.
The customer service was courteous and made me feel at ease.
