kyoto yakiniku No.9

Introduction

After all, when it comes to yakiniku in Kyoto, Tendan is the place to be.

The main restaurant in Gion is attractive because it has seats where you can dine with a view of the Kamo River.

At Tendan, the meat is dipped in a tsuke sauce like dashi (Japanese soup stock), which is the one and only taste you won’t find at any other restaurant.

I hear that maiko don’t have to open their mouths wide… or smell the strong smell of yakiniku before work…
There is a maiko fantasy restaurant in Kyoto.

This long-established restaurant has a sauce called “Arai-dare” which is exactly the kind of sauce that is washed in soup stock to prevent the smell of yakiniku before the maiko goes to work!

When it comes to yakiniku in Kyoto, this is the place to go.

Anyway, this sauce is so wonderful!

I recommend eating it with their signature dish, the loin.

The loin is fatty, but when you try it, it is not that fatty and you can eat as many pieces as you want.

I had the Tendan Loin, Tendan Top Tongue Salt, Hormone, and Karubi.

I particularly enjoyed the Tendan loin and Tendan jangjang tan shio. The Tendan loin is excellent when dipped in the clear sauce.
I recommend going there when you come to Kyoto.
