kyoto ramen NO.18

kyoto ramen

Introduce

We were allowed to park our bicycles in front of the restaurant, so we gratefully parked our bicycles in front of the restaurant and arrived at the restaurant 10 minutes before it opened.

There were about 15 people in line. This was enough to get into the first round of the line.

The person in front of me handed me a menu. I had already decided on my menu, so I handed it to the person right behind me.

Just before the restaurant opened, the waiter came out and asked “How many people are you expecting?

Then, at opening time, after confirming “how many people are there,” we were seated at our assigned seats in order

Since I was alone, I was guided to the counter.

There is a large basket under the desk, so I put my bag in it.

There is a transparent partition between the seats, and the table for one was spacious enough to hold ramen, rice, and fried chicken.

I was given a glass of cold water and placed my order.

I chose the “Weekday Lunch Set Lunch”. The set includes ramen, fried chicken and rice.

You can choose one or two pieces of fried bean curd. You can choose the amount of rice from large, medium, and small.

The bowl of rice arrived in less than 10 minutes. By this time, the restaurant was full.

The rice was served just a little later. It was too much trouble to ask them to reduce the amount of rice, so I took it as it was.

Suji Ramen
This is a limited quantity dish.

It is quite a large dish with 1.5 bowls of noodles, too much beef tendon and green onion.
The soup and noodles are so delicious that you can’t stop eating. The beef tendon is also quite large (although some of it has loosened up and become smaller).

The soup is hot to the last thanks to the fat. The soup is so tasty that you can’t stop drinking it, even though it has a lot of fat in it. You will think that you can eat it again tomorrow.

In the latter half of the soup, I added chives and sesame seeds on the table.

It is very tasty by itself, but by soaking the sesame seeds in the soup for a while, it added spiciness and richness to the soup, making it a soup that you can drink in gulps again.

One piece of Karaage
Each piece is very large, so be careful when ordering.

However, the fried chicken is so crispy that it would be a waste if you don’t eat it.

If you can’t finish the karaage, you can get a to-go container and a handbag.

The curry powder on it, along with the accompanying cabbage mayo, makes a nice chopstick rest for the ramen, so I ate one of them by myself.

Rice small
It is about 150 grams, not “small” at all.

But the ramen has a strong flavor and the karaage is curry flavored, so you will want to eat the white rice. It was a good decision to order it.

The white rice makes the ramen go further.

There are a few pickles, and you can change the taste by mixing in the hot seasoning on the table. Be careful not to put too much because it is very hot.

Also, the customer service is wonderful. The interior also looks welcoming for a single girl.
Also, it is nice that the background music is J-POP from the late 1990s!
