1,Fukuda Art Museum

A phantom collection of works by eminent and famous artists.
A lineup that will move and astonish anyone.
The museum is located in Arashiyama and was built in 2019, so it is still new and beautiful. The entrances are all automatic doors. The museum says it has about 1,500 works by major Japanese painters from the Edo period to the modern era.
There is a cafe inside that is only open to visitors. It is a popular store with a name of “Bread and Espresso,” which is found in several major cities.
2,Former Saga Gosho Daihonzan Daikakuji Temple

Daikakuji Temple is a place rich in history, culture and nature.
The Godai Myoo statues and fusuma paintings are also magnificent.
The temple is also famous for the cherry blossoms that bloom along the roadside in the spring and the autumn leaves in the fall, making it a place where visitors can experience the flavors of the four seasons.
3,Jokoji Temple

It is about 12 m high and is also called Namison-gak because it enshrines Shakyamuni Buddha and Dabonibutsu inside.
The interior of the hall is always closed to the public. The path leading from the gate of the temple to the Niomon gate and the main hall is lined with a tunnel of about 200 maple trees in autumn.
To the west of the main hall, which was moved from the Kyakuden of Fushimi Castle, is a long, narrow pond, which leads to the Dabotou (pagoda) and the Utasenryoku (poem anthology).

5,kimono forest

Light up: Evening – 21:00 *Some areas light up until 23:00 Kimono forest with poles made of yuzen that resemble a forest.
It is located at Arashiyama Station on the Randen Line.
The kimono patterns are brightly colored and shine in the light, creating a wonderful fusion of Kyoto and modern times.
It also looks beautiful when lit up.
6,Hougonin

The temple is one of the pagoda temples of Tenryuji Temple, the head temple of the Rinzai sect of Zen Buddhism, and is open to the public on special occasions in spring and fall.
The “Shishiko-no-niwa” (lion’s roar garden), said to have been created by Zenji Sasahiko, a grandson of Zen priest Muso Kuniji, is a circular garden with Arashiyama as its backdrop.
A large rock in the garden, called “Shishi-iwa,” is said to look like a lion when viewed from there.
