Introduction
The unlimited access to the hot springs was wonderful, and the view of the baths, especially on the ocean side, was soothing. I highly recommend getting in during the daylight hours.
However, I was disappointed that the next morning’s morning bath (6:00-8:00), although discounted, was paid for and only one of the indoor baths was filled with hot water.
There was no explanation at the reception. Considering the number of visitors and the cost, it could not be helped, but it would have been better to sell tickets at a discount for use during regular business hours from 11:00 after check-out.
Since the men’s and women’s baths on the ocean side and the mountain side change daily, I think there is quite a lot of demand for people who want to enter both (although it would be frustrating to pay the regular price when it was free the day before, so I would like a discount), and I would be highly satisfied if I could go home after washing off the sweat and dirt from taking down my tent.
We proceeded to the bathhouse and first took a dip in the lukewarm water.
The water felt so nice and warm, and the sun was shining through the window, making it very pleasant.
The sauna was over 90 degrees Celsius, but it did not feel sticky or too hot, but refreshing and pleasant. I bathed for about 3 hours, repeating the lukewarm water and sauna, with lunch in between. It was very, very comfortable.
The accommodation building and the hot spring building are separated, both of which are clean and have a warm atmosphere. We were provided with the ingredients for a crab hot pot and cooked it by ourselves.
The hot spring bath had a tepid water bath, a hot water bath, an open-air bath, and a sauna, and it was very pleasant. The staff at the inn was very courteous and wonderful. I would definitely go back again.
We were in the bathroom with a view of the ocean.
The indoor bath had both lukewarm and boiling water.
The wooden bathtub of the lukewarm water was a little slippery, as the warning sign said.
The sauna was fairly high in temperature. The water bath was outside.
